The role involves close coordination with Trade, Transshipment, Local Operations, and Partner teams to manage forecasts, monitor vessel loading, and address any space shortfalls. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of container shipping experience with a focus on vessel efficiency, cost control, and smooth cargo flow through Singapore.

This role covers three main areas of responsibility: developing and driving global corporate sustainability goals, strategic development and daily procurement of fuel and lubricants for the fleet, and leading decarbonization efforts across land-based operations and vessels. The delivery of these responsibilities is through the management of two distinct departments—Global Sustainability & ESG, and Marine Fuels & Services—and the ability to leverage synergies between them. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills to align various operating divisions and regional offices to enable effective implementation of corporate sustainability initiatives. Familiarity with global regulatory requirements and local marine fuel regulators is also essential to navigate the ongoing fuel transition.
