We are looking for an experienced and energetic Technical Superintendent for one of our global shipping clients. The ideal candidate would have at least 6 years of working experiences managing chemical tankers as a Technical Superintendent or serving as an owner’s representative for 3rd party ship management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise in-house/ third party ship managers, including budget
- Conducting ship inspection as and when required
- Review/making company policy for ship maintenance
- Monitor vessel performance, OPEX, CAPEX and Docking
- Handle all general matters of the Technical department as and when assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Maritime or Education from Maritime Academy
- At least 6 years of shore-based experience:
– Technical Superintendent or Naval Architect and;
– Engineers on board chemical tanker vessel, technical experience in Chemical tankers,
ship management company - Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate effectively
