Senior/HR Executive (Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Senior/ HR executive for a contract assignment ranging from 6 months and 9 months respectively (2 positions) for two of our global shipping clients. The ideal candidate would have experience in managing payroll and handling all HR administrative matters of the company. He/she will also be well versed in Employment Laws of Singapore and enjoy interacting with all levels of the employees.


Key Responsibilities


Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Executive will handle a wide range of HR functions of the company which consist of the following areas:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding
    • Assist in the preparation of employment contacts, confirmation, work passes application & administration, on-boarding, off-boarding, transfer, exit interview, employee relations matters, etc.
  • Benefits, Payroll and Staff Welfare Administration
    • Point of contact for any queries on benefits, payroll, and welfare matters.
    • Administration of payroll for local and overseas entities and handling of taxation matters
  • Learning & Development
    • Consolidate training requirements, source for training providers, and apply relevant training grants
  • Employee Engagement
    • Assist and organize employee relation, recreational and social wellness activities for staff to enhance work environment and provide internal communication.
  • Others
    • Prepare relevant HR reports and other duties as assigned by manager


Qualifications

  • Minimum a Diploma in Business with Major in HRM or equivalent. 
  • At least 2 – 3 years of direct experience in HR or related field.
  • Well-versed in the Employment Laws in Singapore.
