We are looking for a proactive and experience Senior Executive, HR executive for one of our global shipping clients. This is a good opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys full-spectrum exposure and wants to play a key role in shaping people initiatives within a dynamic, international business environment. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will support and execute end-to-end HR functions across talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance.
The ideal candidate would have at least 2-3 years of relevant HR generalist experience and has good knowledge of the local labour laws and HR compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and offboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and develop effective hiring strategies
- Drive and manage the company’s internship programme, including school partnerships and end-to-end intern lifecycle management
Learning & Development
- Administer training applications and post-training evaluations
- Maintain training records, learning dashboards, and documentation for reporting and audit purposes
Employee Engagement & CSR
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and CSR activities
- Support employee surveys, feedback initiatives, and internal engagement programmes
Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll administration and benefits processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Support annual insurance renewal, budgeting, and salary review exercises
Performance Management
- Guide stakeholders on performance management processes
- Ensure timely completion of performance appraisals and annual pulse surveys
HR Operations, Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate HR metrics (turnover, statutory surveys, ESG data, leave reports, etc.)
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labour laws and regulatory requirements
- Support audit processes and liaise with auditors on HR documentation
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially
- Provide operational support across the HR team when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 2–3 years of HR generalist experience
- Good knowledge of Singapore labour laws and HR compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and structured follow-through
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience in the maritime/O&G industry will be an advantage
