Senior Finance Executive

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Senior Finance Executive to join a boutique yacht management company under a well-established family office based in Singapore. This role will be responsible for managing the financial operations of a portfolio of luxury yachts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and supporting day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting and finance background with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Management

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, account consolidations, and variance analysis.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring for assigned yacht portfolios.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for both internal stakeholders and yacht owners.
  • Monitor operational expenditures and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Accounting Operations

  • Review and process vendor invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses.
  • Support banking administration and maintain proper financial records.
  • Assist with finance-related activities across other business entities when required.

Payroll & Administration

  • Manage payroll processing for yacht crew, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Support owner-related financial administration and respond to finance-related queries.
  • Maintain proper documentation and financial records.

Compliance & Systems

  • Support statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Maintain financial data within the yacht management system and ensure data integrity.
  • Handle KYC, AML, and other compliance-related documentation when required.

Operational Support

  • Partner closely with operational teams to monitor inventory costs, project expenditures, and provisioning budgets.
  • Provide financial support to improve operational efficiency and cost control.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) will be an advantage.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, management accounting, and month-end closing.
  • Exposure to account consolidation, variance analysis, and finance operations is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior experience in the maritime, yachting, hospitality, luxury services, or family office environment will be an advantage, though not essential.
