We are looking for a self-driven Senior Executive, Global Bunker Management for a global shipowner company. He/she will be responsible for consolidating the bunker data, providing comprehensive data analytical reports to support users and contribute to day-to-day bunker operations. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of shipping operations and bunkering processes.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate data from various sources and ensure data accuracy before conducting analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis and calculate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team and department.
- Provide timely and regular analytical reports to support managerial decision-making.
- Provide essential bunker-related data to other departments as needed and act as a coordinator and moderator during meetings.
- Contribute to day-to-day bunker operations, including supporting the monthly bunker plan registration into relevant systems.
- Communicate with the vessels and stakeholders to finalize bunkering arrangements and handle emergency situations related to bunker operations.
- Support in any ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirement:
- Diploma or degree in Maritime, Analytics or any relevant discipline.
- Min 3 years of relevant experience.
- Onboard experience as an Assistant Engineer (1st/2nd/3rd), higher ranks will be an advantage (Container vessel is preferred).
- Comprehensive understand and knowledge of shipping operations & bunkering processes.
- Strong data analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw actionable insights.
- Proficient in Google Workspace tools (Sheets/Docs/Slides) and MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
- Effective critical thinking and concise reporting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills to coordinate with global stakeholders.
