We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager on behalf of one of our global shipping clients. In this role, the Project Manager will be instrumental in driving the company’s business growth in Asia and the Middle East, with a focus on floating and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably with a background in business development within the LNG/LPG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the Asia and Middle East strategy for floating infrastructure (Gas Solutions).
- Proactively establish and nurture industry relationships, supporting the origination of new business opportunities in the Asia and Middle East region.
- Assist with the teams marketing initiatives, including the creation of presentation materials.
- Coordinate the team’s involvement in tenders and bids, including the preparation of client proposals and related documentation.
- Lead selected business opportunities.
- Monitor the Asian and Middle Eastern markets, identifying potential customers and tracking ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Support the development of a regional network of strategic partners.
- Manage contract negotiations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is essential. Master’s degree is desirable.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably within business development in LNG/LPG industry
- Project management experience, preferably linked to infrastructure projects.
- Reasonable technical understanding to be able to present technical solutions to customers.
- Reasonable familiarity with gas supply markets and gas supply negotiations.
- Proven commercial acumen and customer relationship skills.
- Good negotiation skills and an ability to close deals
