At Innergy, we are always looking for experienced and energetic Marine Superintendent for our esteemed clients who are mostly leading and established ship owner and ship management companies.
As a Marine Superintendent, you will ensure the safe operations of vessels and compliance to all international marine requirements. You will assist in the implementation and upkeep of the Safety Management System and be required to conduct regular ship inspections to ensure compliance to the statutory and company’s requirements. In addition, you will also be responsible for conducting pre-vetting inspection onboard the ship and the relevant follow-up actions. You will also be expected to provide guidance to the Ship Captain/Master onboard for nautical matters and also conducts incident investigation onboard the vessel.
Requirements
- Minimum COC Class 1 or 2 Deck Officer
- At least 5 years of sea-faring experience and 1-year shore-based related working experience
- Good communication and people management skills
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements
