Logistics & Warehouse Manager (Industrial & Engineering Services)

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Senior Logistics & Warehouse Manager for one of our clients, a well-established and reputable leader in the industrial and engineering services sector. This is a critical operational leadership role where the successful candidate will lead the end-to-end logistics, warehousing, and supply chain functions to support the company’s regional growth.

The ideal candidate must be operationally hands-on, possess a strong command of warehouse management systems (SAP/WMS), and have a proven track record of leading teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Strategy

  • Plan and manage the entire logistics spectrum, including transportation, distribution, inventory control, and warehousing operations.
  • Optimize logistics processes and workflows to drive improved efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with emerging business goals and customer service standards.
  • Manage budgets, logistics KPIs, and provide regular analytical reports to senior management.


Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring proper organization, efficient layout, and annual stock-take accuracy.
  • Implement and manage monthly cycle count reports to ensure high levels of inventory integrity.
  • Manage the repair and maintenance of the warehouse facility and overall building infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and schedule the timely delivery and pick-up of goods to meet demanding customer timelines.


People Leadership & Hands-on Execution

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of logistics personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Be a people-centric leader who is willing to assist in hands-on picking and packing operations when necessary to support the team during peak periods.
  • Manage manpower planning, including overtime and weekend scheduling when required by operational needs.


Systems & Compliance

  • Drive the effective use of technology (SAP & IWMS) to streamline operations.
  • Ensure all operations remain in full compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Services, Finance) and external partners (Suppliers, Carriers) to ensure seamless fulfilment.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CLTD) is highly advantageous.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a strong leadership track record.
  • Proficient in logistics software, specifically SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (IWMS).
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to initiate and complete projects on time.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
