IT System Engineer (Maritime)

We are looking for an experienced and energetic IT System Engineer for one of our global shipping clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of working experiences in handling infrastructure support (e.g. PC, email, printer, server, maintenance etc) and has excellent troubleshooting skills for both the hardware and the software.


  • Provide 1st level IT infrastructure support for office and remote users (include oversea offices).
  • Overseeing the Helpdesk Ticketing System and works directly with end-users to resolve the issues in a timely manner, suggests enhancements in process and procedures for IT Ticketing System. 
  • Manage user registration process (creation, deletion and change management)
  • Purchase and setup PC hardware, operating system, application software and system management tools for new and existing users
  • Support IT manager for new IT Infra project implementation
  • Maintain the installed IT infrastructure and systems including security, backup, inventory and warranty.
  • Support other IT teams like business application to provide IT infra support.
  • Process IT related invoices and payment  


  • Degree in IT (Minimum Diploma in IT, but strongly prefer Degree)
  • 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience, prefer experience in shipping company but not compulsory
  • Experience in Microsoft OS, Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10
  • Possess knowledge in IT networking and LAN.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory environment (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
