We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Officer to join an established international shipping company based in Singapore. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Officer will provide full-spectrum HR support, acting as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related matters and ensuring smooth execution of HR operations and initiatives.
The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of HR generalist experience, strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, and a keen interest in developing a broad HR career within a dynamic and global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR enquiries, ensuring timely and professional support.
- Manage recruitment administration including preparation of employment contracts, pre-employment checks, onboarding, and corporate inductions.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure updates in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Support offboarding processes such as exit interviews, regulatory reporting, and final documentation.
- Assist in employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and company policies.
- Coordinate staff engagement activities and HR initiatives.
- Handle HR operational tasks including visa applications, renewals, and expatriate travel arrangements.
- Undertake HR administrative duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of HR generalist experience.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of Singapore employment laws.
- Experience with employment pass applications and SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and a strong team play.
