Fleet Performance Control, Senior Executive

We are looking for an energetic and self-driven Senior Executive (Fleet Performance Control) for a global shipowner company. He/she will be responsible for consolidating and analysing the fuel consumption data, support fuel efficiency initiatives and fleet performance. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of container shipping operations and fleet performance monitoring with sailing experience as a Marine Engineer.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, monitor and analyze fuel consumption data across the entire fleet to support operational performance and reporting.
  • Support fuel efficiency initiatives and decarbonization programs to improve environmental performance.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of fuel consumption and vessel performance
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, equipment and vendors for vessel modifications and energy efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor the performance and utilization of energy-saving devices across the fleet.
  • Perform regular condition monitoring of diesel generators (D/G) and boilers to ensure optimal performance and facilitate early detection of potential issues.
  • Provide support for ad hoc technical projects, analyses, and other assignments as required.


Requirements

  • Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or any related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience on board as marine engineer or fleet performance monitoring within the container shipping industry
  • Knowledge in Marine engineering and vessel performance
  • Familiarity with vessel performance metrics and fuel optimization strategies
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Excel, google workspace
