We are looking for a Financial Reporting Executive for one of our global shipping clients. The candidate will support the Financial Reporting team in financial reporting and controls to meet statutory and stock exchange obligations of the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger roles
- Prepare schedules for purposes of analysis and external audit
- Review trial balances
- Produce monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad-hoc financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaise with external and internal auditors accordingly
- Perform controlling functions in relation to providing accurate financial results and identifying weaknesses in contracts/systems, if any
- Assist in tax filing (corporate and GST) and documentations
- Perform reconciliation of intercompany balances and other records
- Participate in projects where necessary and carry out any ad-hoc tasks required
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial accounting and/or audit experience
- Experience in accounting software especially Oracle, Hyperion and IMOS is an advantage
- Ability to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
- Committed, responsible, organized, meticulous and good number sense
- Must be a team player, with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work in a systematic and organized manner
- Is dependable and reliable
- Is analytical and manages data and information logically
