We are looking for an energetic and proactive Assistant Manager, Talent Management for one of our global shipping clients. This role offers regional and global exposure in talent reviews, succession planning, talent development, career mobility, and HR transformation projects while working closely with stakeholders across multiple countries.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Talent Management. Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural environment. Experience in talent reviews, succession planning, competency frameworks, or HR transformation initiatives will be an advantage. Proficiency in Google Workspace is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution and continuous improvement of the company’s global talent management strategy, including Talent Reviews, Calibration, Talent Rotation, Succession Planning, Career Development, and Talent Development initiatives.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders globally to strengthen the talent pipeline and succession planning framework across different organizational levels.
- Assist in enhancing and streamlining talent management processes through automation, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Contribute to HR transformation projects, including competency framework enhancement, succession planning methodology, and global talent pool initiatives.
- Work closely with Global HR and regional HR teams to deliver talent management, career mobility, and leadership development programmes.
- Support learning and development initiatives, employee engagement programmes, and activities under the company’s corporate academy.
- Prepare talent-related reports, presentations, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Participate in other HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Talent Management
- Experience in talent reviews, succession planning, competency frameworks, leadership development, or HR transformation projects will be an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and functions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Google Workspace is an advantage.
