We are looking for a reliable and proactive Application Support Engineer for one of our established clients. Reporting to the Senior Manager (PMO), he/she will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and fixing application errors that arise across the business. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in system support, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and application development, along with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide all levels of application support, handling change requests and project coordination.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application errors raised by business users.
- Establish the root causes of application errors and propose solution to Support Lead.
- Perform system bug fixing and testing under the supervision of System Analyst.
- Follow up on unresolved cases with end users/next level and ensure timely resolution.
- Report significant and recurring issues to support lead for future solution.
- Collect feedback to determine patterns and issues that can be resolved by building a knowledgebase.
- Provide FAQs to end user to ease in troubleshooting.
- Able to stay back for critical issue support and during project implementation.
- Reports and documentation.
- Complete all other application support related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Information Management / Technology.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in application system support, problem solving, troubleshooting and application development.
- Exceptional ability to identify application errors and root cause.
- Ability to develop and fix bugs in .Net, C#, Vue.js programming language.
- Possesses strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms, a positive working attitude, and is a fast learner.
