HR Executive (L&D)

Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will be responsible to support the HR Manager in the full spectrum of HR duties with include but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, compensation and benefits, administration of HR policies and employee engagements. A big part of the candidate’s responsibilities will revolve around supporting the learning and development activities of the company (E.g. Training needs analysis, training administration, conducting induction trainings for new joiners) and working closely with the departmental heads to provide HR guidance/ solutions to their manpower planning, training, performance management and employee relations issues.


  • Handle recruitment and selection of non-management level staff and work pass applications where applicable.
  • Process monthly payroll for office-based and field/project staff
  • Process insurance enrolment and deletion for new joiners and leavers
  • Handle day-to-day HR related enquiries from line management and employees and providing them effective resolution to their queries/issues in the following areas:
    • Employee leave, welfare and benefit programs
    • Expatriate benefits and miscellaneous claims
    • Long Service awards
  • Advise line managers on employment terms and conditions, including but not limited to employment legislation and human resources policies and practices. Assist in the review and analysis of company policies and practices to ensure they continue to support the organization’s needs.
  • Prepare training needs analysis, prepare Master Training plan as well as administrating and maintaining of the Training Management System (TMS).
  • Administer training matrix and ensure all new joiners received mandatory trainings for their respective roles and handle all training logistics and administration of all pre-&-post training related activities such as training pass applications to government grants applications etc.
  • Manage the internship program and the On-the-Job training process. Conduct new staff orientation and induction as and when required by the Company.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR records such as personnel records, job descriptions, training records and provide statistical reporting on aspects such as employee turnover, employment numbers, staff movements, etc.
  • Handle government surveys and labour statistics and assist with the employee recreation program
  • Assist/undertake specific projects and assignments as directed by the HR Manager

Experience required

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in handling a range of HR operational activities in a dynamic environment
  • IHRP certification preferred
  • Well versed with Singapore Employment Act and practices
  • Having prior experience in training administration and working in a shipping MNC will be an advantage
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal and people management skills
  • Self-driven, resourceful individual who is able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

HR Generalist

We are looking for an energetic & proactive HR Generalist for one of our global shipping clients. The HR Generalist will be responsible to deliver a full spectrum of HR operations which include and not limited to recruitment, HRIS, payroll and employee benefits administration as well as HRBP with the relevant head of departments.

The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of HR experience working in a fast-paced MNC environment and is analytical, systematic and strong in numbers.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Support different functions in their talent acquisition needs, including developing job descriptions and job postings, overseeing candidate testing and shortlisting and helping with interviewing and selection
  • Support young talent attraction and management programs including internships, scholarships and trainee programs
  • Onboard new joiners; prepare employment contracts, collect onboarding documents and conduct orientation
  • Administer, process and ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, taxes, statutory contributions and other deductions for our Singapore office
  • Maintain accurate updates of employee records in our HRIS system in accordance to GDPR/PDPA requirements
  • Administer work passes, such as employment pass and dependent pass applications, renewal, cancellation, issuance and re-entry permits
  • Administer employee benefits and assist to address employee queries e.g, medical insurance and leave benefits
  • Prepare HR letters and maintain proper filing system long service award letters, contract renewal and re-employment letters
  • Organise company-wide employee engagement activities and act as an advisor to our company recreation club
  • Process offboarding/employee exits, conduct exit interviews and feedback insights on attrition to management
  • Support projects at a Group level as and when required
  • Perform reception duties as and when required
  • Provide office administration support as and when required
  • Provide administration assistance to the Communications and Branding manager, for e.g supporting the updating of our company website or the provision of internal newsletters


  • Degree holder in business, HR or other relevant discipline from a recognised university
  • Min 2 years of relevant working experience in a fast-paced MNC environment and has hands-on payroll experience with good working knowledge of the payroll cycle, including processing CPF contribution and submission
  • Good Knowledge of Singapore’s Employment Act

SAP Consultant (Transportation Management)

We are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant for one of our global shipping clients. The SAP Consultant will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Transportation Management (TM) module solution, design, implementation of our client. You can expect to work in a multi-national/ matrix environment and working closely with international stakeholders virtually to work on the latest SAP S/4 HANA.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience as SAP functional consultant and 3 years of experience managing transportation management module. Having SAP TM certification would have an advantage.


60% – Solutions

  • Defines the solutions based on SAP platforms and ensures (accountability) successful implementation
  • Reviews solution with key stakeholders (business users, IT domain leads, Vendors, etc) throughout the implementation lifecycle to ensure alignment on requirements.
  • Liaises with development / build teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Identifies, recommends and presents any necessary revisions to the overall solution arising from change requests for governance review and approval.
  • Responsible to validate solution and test cases for change requests by working with members of the shared service centre
  • Collaborates with other members to define the scope of solution, end to end and regression testing of the solution.
  • Performs regular analysis of production issues to identify potential fixes for hidden problems
  • Performs regular checks on the state of live interfaces to pre-emptively identify any problems that could stall business actions, thereby fix such problems to ensure smooth operations.

15% – Ensuring Consistency

  • Actively ensuring that the solution is scalable and maintainable, and pro-actively proposing ways to minimize the overall impact to the existing functionality
  • Collaborates with various teams to ensure the solution delivered is consistent with all the downstream applications

15% – Date & Reports Accuracy

  • Works with middleware team to ensure the data flow is according to business needs
  • Builds and maintains data accuracy reports for both SAP and Non-SAP related applications.
  • Extracts data (on demand) from legacy system for supporting IT related as well as business related activities (e.g. Business intelligence for Port call operations stream)

10% – status update reporting

  • Reports to Project manager on the progress, issues and risks for all deployment activities
  • Other status reporting when required by management
